A Rare Famille Rose and Nine Dragons Eggshell Bowl, Qianlong Mark, late Qing Dynasty.

This is a fine and rare famille rose nine dragons eggshell bowl, this nine dragons with five claws is supported on a short straight foot, brightly enamelled on a yellow ground, the interior with a central pink dragon. The interior and exterior rim is decorated with pink and blue ruyi and below green crashing waves and and pink key fret at the foot. The base has an iron red Qianlong six characters mark (DA QING QIAN LONG NIAN ZHI). This is a late Qing dynasty bowl. It measures 14.2 cm (5.6 inches) and 6 cm (2.35 inches) high. A Fine and Rare Chinese Famille Verte Zhongkui Meiping Porcelain Vase, Early 19th. Century.

This is a very fine and rare famille verte vase meiping, depicting Zhongkui with three demons. This is an extremely finely painted meiping, better watch pictures to enjoy this painted porcelain. Zhong Kui, seldomly written is a mythical person figuring in Chinese tales and stories as a fighter against demons and evil spirits. In Daoism Zhongkui was elevated to a celestial deity with the function of chasing away evil spirits. This is an early 19th century, probably late Jiaqing to early Daoguang period. This vase measures 22.5 cm (8.9 inches) high. Good conditions except some fritting to the foot base, please watch pictures. Shipping extra.

A Chinese Shou Lao Famille Rose Porcelain Vase; Qianlong Mark and Republic Period (1912-1949).

This is a very nice Chinese Shou Lao carrying peach famille rose porcelain vase with two boys offering a peach. The figure of Shou Lao is the Daoist Chinese god of longevity. His name means 'Star Of Long Life'. He is old and bald, and always carries a Golden Peach of Immortality from XI-WANGMU's Holy Peach Garden.The base of this vase is with a four characters Qianlong square mark (Qian Long Nian Zhi) in iron red and dated of Republic period (1912-1949). This Republic vase measures 24,5 cm (9.6 inches) high. This vase is in very good condition, no restoration or repair. Shipping extra.

A Chinese Laughing Famille Rose Buddha of Happyness; Republic Mark and Period (1912-1949).

This is a very rare and fine Chinese laughing famille rose Buddha of happiness. The Buddha is sitting with his bulging sack on a pedestral with cloud pattern, the finely flowered robe has slipped slightly over the shoulders and frees the belly. In his right hand he is holding a prayer beads. Republic mark and Period, (1912-1949). “FUJIAN HUIGAN”. This figure measures 37cm (14.5 inches) high and the base is 20 cm by 10.5cm (8 x 4.1 inches). The condition of this Buddha is perfect, no restoration or repair. Shipping extra.

A Fine and Rare Famille Rose Tea Pot with Historical Figures; Daoguang Period (1821-1850)..

This is a very rare famille rose tea pot enriched in gilt decorated with historical figures and associated with calligraphies and poems painted in enamels. The figures and poems are from the Tang dynasty. The upper side and lid are decorated with butterflies and flowers. This is a typical pattern from Daoguang (1821-1851) and Xianfeng (1851-1861) periods. It’s quite common to find some cups and dishes with this pattern of this period but this kind of tea pot in such quality and condition is very rare. This mid 19th century tea pot measures 24 cm (9.4 inches) at the largest and 15.4 (6 inches) high. This tea pot is in very good condition except two tiny chips; no restoration or repair. A huge13.75 inches famille verte Chinese porcelain charger decorated with incense burner pattern and some calligraphy with auspicious meaning, the rim is bordered by a diamond diaper circle and eight cartouches with flower motif. The back is decorated with some bamboo branches in red copper underglaze and there is a four characters mark Cha Yi Xing Zhi in red copper, this mark seem to be a company name. This is a late 19th century charger and measures 35 cm (13.75 inches) in diameter and 5.4 cm (2.1 inches) high. Good condition with usual fritting to the rim (please watch pictures), no hairline, no restoration or repair.

Very nice Chinese porcelain famille rose foliated bowl and rare pierced saucer. The bowl is decorated with elegant ladies at leisure and qilin upon outdoor terrace and within a fenced garden. The high footed saucer is decorated with boys playing and floral design, both has gilded edge. The base of the bowl is with a four characters Tongzhi square mark (Tong Zhi Nian Zhi) in iron red and dated of the Tongzhi period (1862-1874). The bowl measures 12 cm (4.7 inches) in diameter and 5.6 cm (2.2 inches) high; the saucer measures 12.9 cm (5 inches) in diameter and 2.9 cm (1.15inches) high. This is a nice Chinese Famille Rose porcelain brush holder decorated with peonies, chrysanthemums, birds and butterflies. The base is unglazed in the centre with painted mark. This wonderful brush pot was made during the Yongzheng period to the early Qianlong period. It measures 12 cm (4.7 inches) tall and 9.8 cm (3.85 inches) in diameter. This famille verte biscuit Bringal type bowl is a special type of Kangxi period porcelain incised and enamelled around the exterior with three freely drawn magnolia sprays decoration in green, white and brown colours in yellow ground. The base of this high footed bowl is marked with an underglazed blue and white square mark within a double circle. There a stamp from the well-know BLUETT & SON in London. A Very Fine Large Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Vase, Daoguang Period (1821-1850).

This large Chinese porcelain famille rose vase finely painted with blossoming plum flowers, wisteria, peony leaves and flowers, chrysanthemums and very fine painted spray of lotus. On both side two red copper handles. The interiors are glazed turquoise and edges is iron brown under glazed. A nice example of fine Chinese vase with vivid and bright enamels from mid 19th century; Daoguang Period (1821-1850). It measures 43 cm (17 inches) and 22.5 cm (8.8 inches) at the widest point. There is an original “Certificate of Identity” made in Hong-Kong in 1969 December 16th , this certificate C certifies that vase was over 100 years old; click here to watch it. A finely potted and beautiful Chinese export mirrored pair of porcelain vases, thin porcelain with famille rose paintings of blossoming plum flowers, peony leaves and flowers and birds standing on tree branches. On the base of each vase there is an iron red “China” mark used from late Qing dynasty to early Republic Period. Those vases belong around 1920-30. They measure 30 cm (11.8 inches) high and 12 cm (4.7 inches) wide. A Very Nice Millefleurs pattern on a Gold Ground Plate, Guangxu Mark and Period (1875-1908).

This is an excellent multi coloured enamelled Guangxu mark and period (1875-1908) plate known as millefleurs (thousand flowers) style pattern on a gold ground. On the base an iron red six characters Guangxu mark (Da Qing Guang Xu Nian Zhi) and three flowers sprays; this is an excellent example from this reign. This millefleurs design features blossoming peonies, chrysanthemums, lotus flowers, morning glories, hibiscus, roses, daisies and lilies. Fencai Enamels 9 Dish Fitted Set Original Wooden Box, 19th - 20th Century.

This is a very nice fencai condiment set made up of nine porcelain dishes with a lady and boy along the river with gilded rim. They all fit together well and sit in a dark brownish wooden box; the cover is made with wood and a decorated glass. This kind of set was used for cold dishes or snack. This porcelain set is late 19th to early 20th century. It difficult to find this set in such good condition, there is only one minor rim chip and a cracking on the wooden box (please watch pictures), no restoration or repair. The box measures are 28.5 cm (11.2 inches) square by 7.5 cm (2.95 inches) tall. The Dishes are between 10,5 cm (4.1 inches) 16.5cm (6.5 inches) wide. Shipping extra.

Nice Woven Caddy Basket whit Teapot and Cup; 19th - 20th Century.

This woven caddy basket consist of a white porcelain teapot and a small copper red cup with the character Shou, the symbol of longevity. This is a late 19th to early 20th Century. Dimensions of basket are 13 cm (5.1 inches) tall and 20 cm (7.8 inches) by 14.5 cm (5.7 inches) wide, the teapot are 10.8 cm (4.2 inches) tall and 12 cm (4.7 inches) wide and the cup are 5 cm (1.9 inches) tall and 6.6 cm (2.6 inches) in diameter. The teapot and cup are in good condition, the caddy basket is also in good condition except a small degradation on the top (please watch pictures), no restoration or repair. Shipping extra.

Nice porcelain of laughing Buddha; 19th - 20th Century.

This is a fine seated porcelain laughing Buddha, wearing untied dress and holding a gilt rosary in his right hand, with five children in his shoulders. Late 19th to early 20th century. It measures 18 cm height(7.1 inches) and 18 cm width(7.1 inches). Good condition, no restoration or repair. Shipping extra. In China Maitreya is known as the laughing Buddha and is usually represented as a rotund figure with a happy disposition. His Chinese name is Pu-tai He-shang (Hemp-bag monk). He is originally a fertility figure who was known to bring goodies in his bag to local townsfolk, especially children. The common tradition is to rub his belly for good luck and prosperity, this is because his big figure is a sign of abundance.

Good early 18th century export saucer decorated in the Chinese Imari, in combination of underglaze blue and white, iron red and gilt of peonies and chrysanthemums with birds. Nice gilt and iron decorated dragons cup and saucer enamelled in famille rose palette and fretwork around the mouth rim. The cup interior and the saucer exterior white, the bases with six characters Guangxu mark (Da Qing Guang Xu Nian Zhi) in iron red and of the period (1875-1908). Cup size: 3.2 cm (1.25 inches) high and 6.4 cm (2.5 inches) in diameter; saucer size: 2.4 cm (0.95 inches) high and 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) in diameter. Good condition except a small hairline inside the cup, no restoration or repair. Shipping extra.

A beautiful large famille rose teapot Xuantong period (1909-1911), with a six characters red seal on the base, Da Qing Xuan Tong Nian Zhe. This teapot depicts a group of travellers with calligraphy on the backside. It measures 15 cm (5.9 inches) tall and 22 cm (8.6 inches) wide. Good condition with two rim chips (one to the lid and one to the spout, no restoration or repair. Shipping extra.

A Finely Sang de Boeuf Long Neck Bottle Vase.

A superbly sang de boeuf long neck bottle vase, with finely potted and well balance, the globular body rising to a tall cylindrical neck where the copper red glaze pools to a white glaze at the mouth rim. Note the overflowing glaze on the base. This bottle have been made in the end of Tongzhi period (1861-1875) to the beginning of Guangxu period (1875-1908). The size height is 24 cm (9.4 inches) and 12 cm (4.7 inches) in diameter. Good condition (please see pictures), no restoration or repair. Shipping extra.
